Update: here is the exam and a version with answers!

The exam is on Monday the 30th of May, 14-18. You can bring a fusklapp, which should be one sheet of A4 paper (you can use both sides if you like). You should hand in the fusklapp with the exam. You can also bring a dictionary if you like.

The exam format

There are 6 questions. Instead of points, for each question you get either a VG, a G or a U. To get a G on the exam you need a G on three questions. To get a VG you need a VG on five questions.

Normally, to get a VG for a question you need to answer it 100% correctly. If you have a small mistake you may get a G for that question instead. If you make a big mistake it will be a U.

For some questions, there are extra requirements for a VG:

  • If the question is to design an algorithm, the required complexity might be lower for VG than G. This will be clearly written in the question.

  • A question may have an extra VG-only part. In that case if you want a VG you should answer this part as well as the rest of the question.

Old exams

Last year’s exam, answers. Note: I actually got the model answer for question 6b wrong. I leave it as an exercise to find the mistake :)
