I want you to prepare before the lectures by reading the texts listed in the reading list, and starting to work with the material presented in the texts. The idea is that if you prepare in this way, then we can spend less time on traditional lecturing, and instead we can have more interaction.
In order to encourage you to prepare (and to give me some feedback on how well you have understood) there will be quizzes before most of the lectures. The quiz for a given lecture is published no later than the end of the previous lecture.
You are free to cooperate with other students when solving quizzes, the important thing is that you prepare. However, you must be able to explain and discuss your solutions.
Quizzes should be handed in individually using Canvas. You can hand in each quiz twice. The best result is the one that counts.
