Assessment of written work

The Centre for Language and Communication at Chalmers has produced guidelines for assessing written reports. These were prepared with larger reports in mind (e.g. Bachelor's project reports), so some aspects are not relevant for smaller pieces of written work (e.g. I don't expect an abstract, contents page or chapters for the written work in this course). Nevertheless it is useful to keep the criteria mentionied in these documents in mind when writing.

Many web resources give advice on academic writing, e.g. the Unilearning website at the University of Wollongong.


You must avoid plagiarism. You should be aware of the Chalmers rules on Academic integrity and honesty.
