2018-10-12 | Master's thesis mingle. There will be an information session about Master's projects on Thursday 18 October from 12:00 to 13:00 in HC2. The main target audience for this are students in the Chalmers "MPALG" programme and students in the GU Computer Science programme. The first half will give information about the process and introduce the course DAT315 (which is similar to the course DIT875) - there is no need for you to join that part. From 12:30 there wiill be posters about available projects just outside HC2, and an opportunity to meet staff from the department offering projects. You are welcome to join from 12:30. |
2018-10-10 | Preparation for class on Thursday 18 October. Please look at two reports and watch a video (31 minutes) before the class on Thursday 18 October (local access). |
2018-10-05 | Meeting with Student Representatives. Notes from this meeting are now online (local access). |
2018-09-25 | Writing workshops on 2-4 October. Please select a workshop (Doodle poll). |
2018-09-18 | Summary exercise. The description of the summary exercise is now online (see below). |
2018-09-18 | Presentations on 25-27 September. Please select a session for your presentation on a research paper and its context (Doodle poll for DIT875 presentations). |
2018-09-18 | Revised schedule. New room bookings have been made and the schedule in TimeEdit has been updated. |
2018-09-13 | Possible schedule changes. Thanks to everyone who filled in the Doodle poll. It seems that the time slots currently scheduled for classes in DIT875 (Tuesdays 13-15 and Thursdays 13-15) are the worst possible slots for students. The best slots for students are Tuesdays 8-10, Wednesdays 8-10 and Thursdays 10-12. All of the students who are OK with the current schedule are also OK with these three slots, so would not be disadvantaged if we make changes. Please look at the suggested revised timetable and let the course representatives know whether you support the proposed changes. |
2018-09-13 | Course representatives. Three students have indicated that they are willing to be course representatives for DIT875. Please could those students contact me with their names and e-mail addresses - I'll then put these on a (local access) web page. |
2018-09-12 | The description of the first exercise is now online (see below). |
