News

2018-12-21 Practical 6 is now online.
2018-12-06 Please select the session when you would prefer to give your Practical 4 presenatation using the link on this local web page.
2018-11-30 The "FAQ" section in the description of Practical 3 has been updated.
2018-11-29 Fitting all of the Practical 4 presentations into the usual two lecture slots in week 51 will be too rushed. Therefore, I suggest that those who want (or need) to present before week 51 can present on Wednesday 12 December. Otherwise, I can book additional time slots for presentations in week 51. This course is in "Block A" of the block schedule, so it could work (for at least some students) to have additional slots for presentations on Monday 10-12, Wednesday 13-15 or Wednesday 15-17. We can discuss this and decide at the lecture on Monday 3 December.
2018-11-27 A "FAQ" section has been added to the description of Practical 3.
2018-11-27 Spare copies of the lecture handouts can be picked up from the tray outside my office (room 6475, EDIT building).
2018-10-26 Research articles will be listed on these web pages during the course. All of them should be accessible from within the Chalmers (and probably also GU) network. If you are not on campus, you can use VPN (Virtual Private Network) (Windows, Mac, Linux). If you have difficulty accessing any of the materials, please let me know.
2018-10-26 Later in this course you will find it useful to look at protein structures with molecular visualisation software. You might want to take a look at RasMol, UCSF Chimera, Jmol or PyMOL. RasMol and UCSF Chimera are installed on the Chalmers Linux system.
