  • Chalmers Research Influence JAVA. The next standard release of the Java programming language, JDK 1.5.0, will contain implementations of data structures based on principles from a lock-free concurrent algorithm of skip lists first published by Sundell and Tsigas in 2003. These new high-performance data structures are going to be part of the Java.util.concurrent package.
