To follow the directive of keeping a safe distance among everyone and the consequent reduction on room capacity to half, lab rooms are limited to one person per computer. To deal with that, we will hold the labs both in the lab rooms and online at the same time.

Since we are also limited in number of teaching assistants available at the same time, the times to come to the lab, both online and physically, a maximum of 13 groups are accepted at the same time, with one person per group in the lab room* and any other members of the group working with them though online meeting.

*: except in time slots that are not too crowded, or under previous agreement with a TA, and always observing the need for personal distancing.

SlackServer

How will the labs be managed

You will be invited at the beginning of the course to a Slack server where we will be able to stay in contact through text during the labs and which should make it easier to discuss small issues, as well as scheduling lab assistance. Remember that the main times to contact us through it will still be during the lab times.

OnlineZoom

How to be in the labs online

During the scheduled lab hours you can join the zoom meeting where we will be having the lab. The password for the room will be provided in the slack server.
