Assignment 2: Network address configuration

Requirements

The assignment is to build a sub-network and configure a number of PCs to work on that network. Students would also be connecting their sub-network to the other group's sub-networks and send network traffic between them.

Each group, which consists of two students, must register with the teaching assistant one of the scheduled lab sessions for the second  assignment at the Lindholmen Campus. Please register for the lab as instructed in the course's main page.

Deadline & submission:

• A written report on tasks in section Preparation at home must be submitted through the fire system the day before the lab.
• Completed assignment must be handed in to the teaching assistant at the end of the lab session.

Assignment descriptions

• with reference to 4e coordinates (US version, blue cover)
  
• with reference to 5e coordinates (International version, green cover)
  

Note: Even though page numbers may differ between versions (US, International), paragraph and problem numbers do not. If you own a different version than the above, please ignore the page numbers and find the corresponding paragraphs and problems.
