Course evaluation meeting 2, Real-time Systems fall 2010 Agenda - General feedback - Questions for course evaluation General feedback - Overall the representatives find the course good and well structured. - Lab sessions. The students experience communication problem with the laboratory assistant Arne Dahlberg but the students think he has good knowledge in the area and want to help the students. - The students would find it useful to have the exercise session before the lab session (i.e. have it in the beginning of the week as opposed to have it on Thursday as is the case this year). - The students would like to be able to access the Lab computers remotely to not have to be present in the lab to work on their assignment. - The lecturer (Jan) is planning to not have that many questions about ADA and programming in the exam. Furthermore, it will probably be cut back even more in future instances of this course. - For the students in networks and distributed systems (maybe other programs as well) three related courses are available to choose from in this quarter (Operating systems, concurrent programming and real-time systems). A better distribution over the years would be appreciated. Questions for course evaluation - Suggested questions from student representatives were discussed to decide what questions to include.
