I am an associate professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. My main academic interests are in the area of large-scale nonlinear deformable simulation for time-critical applications like surgical simulation, physically-based animation, industrial prototyping and design, virtual/augmented reality, etc. I have been an assistant professor (2011-2014) at Sapienza University in Rome (Italy), and a visiting professor (2014) at Telecom Paristech in Paris (France). I have received a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Sapienza in 2009, jointly with Linköping University in Sweden.I have been awarded the Young Researcher grant from Vetenskapsrådet (Swedish Research Council) in 2015.
