2014-11-26 A former PhD student from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chalmers who now works for AstraZeneca has asked me pass on information about their Early Development Graduate Programme - Recruitment Intake for the Class of 2015.
2014-11-18 There will be a lecture on "Vector borne disease and model complexity, ebola and anthrax. An application of computer network models to real problems" by Madhav Marathe and Chris Barrett (Virginia Tech) on Thursday 20 November, at 13:30-14:30.

2014-11-18 Test data for practical 2, question 4 are now online.
Some changes have been made to example program residue_array.c (local access) to read file 1HZH_H.pdb correctly.

2014-10-11 I'm aware that some have had difficulty in finding the files for Practical 1 on the StuDAT Linux system. For your convenience these files are now on the course web site (local access).
2014-11-10 The Fire submission system has been activated. The deadline for the first assignment is 23:59 on Tuesday 11 November Thursday 13 November.
2014-10-13 Later in this course you will find it useful to look at protein structures with molecular visualisation software. You might want to take a look at RasMol, UCSF Chimera, Jmol or PyMOL.
