JOIN THE SIDeR DESIGN COMPETITION!
CANCELLED. Unfortunately the design competition has been cancelled due to sudden sickness. We are hoping for your understanding.

This is how it works: You register in teams of 1-2 people. Then, larger teams consisting of 3-4 people will be created. If you sign in together with a friend, the two of you will be on the same team, together with two soon-to-be friends. If you sign in by yourself you will instead meet two or three new pals.

At 09.15 on Saturday morning you will meet your team mates, and get an introduction to your design task, and alsmost 30 hours later, at 14.00 on Sunday, you hand in your solution to the judges. One hour later, at 15.00, you will present your solution to the judges and the rest of the conference visitors – a perfect opportunity to rise and shine! The design task is estimated to take ca 4 hours, but how much time you want to spend is up to you. There is no programming involved, presenting a concept will do just fine, but you might want to bring some computers for sketching and presentation.

BEST PAPER COMPETITION
One of our sponsors, STIMDI, has contributed to a Best Short Paper Award Price, consisting of 5.000 SEK. The paper will be chosen by votes from the 4 pages papers by the reviewing committee and members from STIMDI, and will be announced during the conference round up on the final day.
