Grading of Labs (Lab 2A and onwards)

After you have submitted your labs in Fire (every Monday at 12.00 noon) you will have to present your solutions to the graders either on Monday or Tuesday. This page describes the procedure.

When

Lab grading will take place Mondays 16.15-18 after the exercises and Tuesdays 10-12 (we currently only have two rooms booked for Tuesday, so expect a change of room!)

Each grader will have a doodle booking form in which you must book a slot for your presentation.

Some graders have slots on both days, some on just one.

Here are the booking sheets (updated weekly). Don’t forget to click DONE when you have selected a slot!

Which grader do I have?

Your grader is assigned when you submit. Look in fire to see your grader (it is usually the same grader that you had in the previous lab btw).

What do we have to do?

All members of a lab group must be present, and are required to understand all of the code submitted, and it is the responsibility of all of the group members to make sure that this is the case. If one of the group members clearly does not understand the code then the group will not be passed, and will be expected to try again when all members of the group can show that they understand the solution. You do not need to prepare a “presentation” - you just need to be prepared to show that you understand what you have done and why.

Additional Checks

For some labs we will run some automatic checks on your code - this will save us time checking whether your code compiles and works as expected.

How do I contact my grader?

Contact your grader through Slack and arrange to meet during their lab times Lab Times
