Labs

All labs must be submitted to Fire. In order to speed up the reviewing process you can first demonstrate the lab to the supervisors in the lab room.

There are six mandatory labs:

• Lab 1: First program. Deadline January 29.
  
• Lab 2: A music library. Deadline February 5.
  
• Lab 3: Game of Life. Deadline February 12.
  
• Lab 4: Web scraping. Deadline February 19.
  
• Lab 5: Image Processing. Deadline March 1.
  
• Lab 6: Mastermind. Deadline March 11.

All labs should be submitted before the deadlines. If the submission is not approved you will have one extra week to resubmit. If you do not submit on time, Fire will not accept later submissions. Most of the deadlines are intentionally set on weekends to give you two more days to work, if you really have to. However, we recommend you that you schedule your time, so that you finish your tasks in the normal working time.

The last two labs, like the earlier, contain an optional task. Unlike the previous, however, we will take a note if you do that task. A well accomplished optional task can help you to make up the score 4 or 5 of the final grade for the course. This is considered as an additional option in borderline cases, and it is quite possible to get the highest grade by a well-conducted exam without making these optional tasks.

Supervision

Supervision in computer rooms is given on Tuesdays 08-10 and on Thursdays 10-12 in rooms 3354 and 3582.
