August 2013
AFP re-lab 2013 (and re-exam reminder)
For those of you who have tried but not passed the AFP labs I have
decided to offer a "re-lab" opportunity in August (around the time for the
written re-exam 2013-08-26). If you are interested, you need to hand
in your lab solution(s) by email and "book" a presentation / oral exam
time when I can make it.
The deadlines are B, D and D+2
- let B <= 2013-08-12 for "booking" a presentation slot
- pick 2011-08-12 <= D <= 2011-08-28 for handing in the lab(s)
- then D+2 is the day for the presentation slot
Or in words:
- register your intent to do a re-lab no later than 2013-08-12
- I will assign you an "oral lab-exam" slot
- hand in your lab solutions no later than two days before the "oral lab exam"
/Patrik
PS. The re-exam 2012-08-26 follows the usual pattern with registration etc. handled by the central admin.

Sat Mar 16: For the final written exam you may bring a "summary sheet" with notes of your choice. If you bring a summary sheet you must hand it in with the exam, so if you want to keep it, please copy it before the exam.

Permitted aids in conjunction with the examination:
You may bring up to two pages (on one A4 sheet of paper) of
pre-written notes - a "summary sheet". These notes may be typed or
handwritten. They may be from any source. If this summary sheet is
brought to the exam it must also be handed in with the exam (so make a copy if you want to keep it).
The pedagogical idea of the summary sheet is that the process of
writing it is at least as important as the sheet itself.
