Mandatory seminars 2015-2016

Writing seminars

The seminar is divided into two parts. You are expected to take the first seminar before you take the second.
The seminars are 09.00 – 12.30 or 13.00-16.30.
You need to sign up for the seminar that you plan to attend, and this must be done no later than one week before the seminar. Below you can find Doodle links for the fall where you can sign up.

There is also a rough schedule for the Spring of 2016, but no dates have been set yet.

Seminar I

This seminar is focused on basic writing skills and here you work individually and therefore you also sign up individually. The number of students for each seminar is limited to 50.

Seminar II

This seminar is focused on your own report so before the seminar you need to have a draft of your report. At this seminar you work as a thesis group and if you are a thesis group of two students you should sign up on the same line in the Doodle poll. At the seminar you will be paired with another group so you can discuss the two report drafts between you. For this to work you must have a draft that you can send to the other group no less than one week before the seminar. If you have a thesis group that you want to work with then this group should sign up for the same seminar group using the other Doodle line. If you donīt have a group to work with we will pair you up. The number of students for each seminar is limited to 40 (20 thesis groups).
